New Zealand Brochure

For the Summer Learning Journey today I choose to do the brochure on a country that is important to me I done it on New Zealand because It has been my family home for decades.

Murchison Camp Photo Slideshow

In week four we went on a class camp to Murchison and when we got back we created some slideshows with all the photos to tell the rest of the school what happened on camp. with some photos we created some pretty awesome looking slideshows here is a slideshow that I created with Shanika based on camp. 

Would you rather...

At the start of this term we had to write weather you would rather be smart or funny and I choose to be funny rather than smart.


I would rather be funny so I am not the go to person for advice and… Smiles are contagious and so is laughter, so if I were to be funny then I could make peoplesmile and laugh. That smile would continue on because giving someone a smile is contagious
and it will always come back to you and then they would be happy. Image someone crying on
your school field/workplace you could walk up to them and make them laugh whether it was
the way you walked up to them or something you said to them and so on. If you were funny you could get a scholarship and be a funny actor, comedian or an entertainer of some sort, so you can still get into some really awesome jobs it may not be high paying but
it would be worth it because of all the smiles that you put on people's faces even if you don’t
see them smiling.To be funny you still have to go to school so you will still be a smart just not
highly smart because your silliness takes over. You will still make it to college because being
smart is only a label you are all smart in your own way. In conclusion when you are funny you
can spread happiness to your family, your pairs or just anyone. 

Jet Boating On The Buller

on the 5th to the 8th we went on camp to Murchison we had a lot of fun doing Comet line,Jet boating, Loop walk,Rafting and the walk to the natural flames. The next week for writing we had to do a advert on our favourite activity on camp mine was Jet boating, so this is my advert I hope it makes you wont to go Jet boating on the Buller after reading my advert.

Anzac Poster

In class we have be learning about Anzac day for topic We gathered facts from a sheet Mrs Hahn done up for our fact gathering after we finished that we put it on Thinglink to make a poster. When we were finished we got given a buddy from room 2 and had to shear it to them.

BIO-POEM

In room 6 we had to create a bio-poem so that the rest of the class can get to know us by reading our bio-poem. We started with a template then went on too a blank document after we had to pick what we wanted to do next create a slide or a video? I choose to create a google slide. Here is my google slide.

Information Report

At Awahono we have a pet day every year where we bring our pets to be judged by community members. We also had to create a pet project with a story about are pet, argument on why we need pets and an information report on the breed of animal we where bringing. I was taking a Romney lamb so my report was on Romney lambs. next time I need to gather more information.

Get Rid Of Headphones

     GET RID OF HEADPHONES

Do you think people are more worried about their music, than their learning?

I do, I think that people are more worried about the songs they want to listen to while working, so by the time people have picked the songs they want time is up. Then they haven't done any work. OH NO!

I know this because I do it sometimes, or the song finishes so I pick another one and then time is up. So I think it will be easy to just get rid of them once and for all. If you are using them for Sound block out,  then you could just ask the class to be quiet while you are working, and they are meant to be working so they should be quite any way.

That is my reason why you should get rid of headphones mainly because people take too long with song choices.
